Complaints from fishermen about Regulations

I am so sick and tired of listening to local fishermen

complaining about the fisheries regulations that I'm about to PUKE!

Complaining on the radio like a bunch of wash women and not attending any meetings is about as ridiculous a thing imaginable.

Yeech ... if you want to complain, first I believe you should "earn the right" to complain and ATTEND the meetings!

Then, if they DO attend, all they do is yell like a bunch of idiots, telling the regulators they are a bunch of dummies .....

Tell me ... what would you do if you had to sit in a council meeting, be called all sorts of names and insulted, and then be expected to help the same people that tried to make a fool of you?

The fisheries are coming back because of the regulations ...

sure some of them may not be perfect, but hey .. they are getting something right!

Then, some of the complainers say the fishery is better than it has ever been

..... that just tells me they are a bunch of beginners!

The fishing in the North East is no where close to what it was in the 60's or 70's.

If you want to make a change,

"You Need To Be Part Of The Solution .. NOT Part Of The Problem!"

If fishermen were part of the solution from the beginning, we would not be in this mess ... the fisheries would be back, regulations would be acceptable, and all would be happy.

Just look at the Alaska fishermen .. they recognized the need for regulation right from the very start and have been part of the solution right from the beginning!
